The Trump International Hotel and Tower recently opened their flagship hotel in Toronto, Canada’s financial district. The hotel is the latest 5+ star hotel to be launched in the Toronto market and the second international location of a Trump Hotel.
The tower is a mix of residential suites and hotel. The building is 60 storeys tall, with the condominiums rising above the hotel. The condominiums are still under construction (as are some areas of the hotel) but they boast an 60% sold rate. It is the tallest residential building in Canada.
Surprisingly, the tower shows no trace of the signature Trump gold. Instead, the color palette is made up of elegant cream and grey, punctuated by black marble and dark wood. The concept is “champagne and caviar” and speaks more to the style of executive vice-president Ivanka Trump than of Donald.
The hotel has 261 rooms and suites, with an average room rate of $350. A 950-square-ft one-bedroom suite goes for about $1000 a night. The room will go for $20,000 a night, a record price for a hotel room in Canada. The hotel also features an 18,000 sq. ft. luxury spa built over 2 levels.
The Presidential Suite will be the largest at a sprawling 4,000 sq. ft. and will be outfitted with furniture from Italian-couture house Fendi. The 30th-floor room includes it’s own soundproofed media room as well as two half baths.
Gorgeous custom-made Dimplex fireplaces are featured in all guest rooms. Other high end features including Nespresso coffee machines, Italian-made linens from Bellino and TVs integrated into the bathroom mirrors.
Not checking into a luxury hotel any time soon? Not to worry. Our selection of Dimplex fireplaces brings the same luxurious look right into your home.
