Cinco de Mayo one of the most spirited and colourful celebrations of the year. It is celebrated in the United States and in parts in Mexico, primarily in the state of Pueblo. The date commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1962. Today in the United States Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of Mexican heritage, culture and pride.
